Nestled in the foothills of the Moreleta Kloof lies one of Pretoria's most exquisite gems, the Moreleta Kloof Nature Reserve. The approximate 100 ha reserve is home to various small game species including Springbuck, Zebra, Blesbok, Impala, Duiker, Bushbuck and Ostrich. Birdwatchers can enjoy the abundant birdlife. Flowing through the reserve is a tributary of the perennial Moreleta Spruit, which has its origins at Wingate Park Country Club. Please note that no bikes or dogs are allowed in the park after Nature Conservation introduced game species. The hiking trail in the Moreleta Kloof Nature Reserve can be utilized by people in wheelchairs, with other disabilities such as sight and hearing and also by any user of the Kloof as a fully integrated and accessible route with the other trails in the Kloof.
